Emma Kate is one month old! Can't believe how fast it's gone by. I spent most of this month staring at her because I literally don't want to miss a second of her growing up. She's been the most content little baby I could have asked for. She certainly is one loved little girl and I just love how our little family has grown and changed with the addition of this sweet baby!
- At her 3 week checkup (she was 25 days old), she weighed 8 lbs 7 oz (40%), was 20.5 inches long (25%) and her head circumference was 14 5/8 inches (75%)
- Been sleeping through the night since we got home from the hospital for the most part (just waking once, sleeping 4-5 hour stretches)! Had a few rough nights, but overall I couldn't ask for a better sleeper!
- Nursing about every 2-3 hours during the day. Nursing is going SO much better this time around and I am so thankful I'm able to experience it! She did have a tongue tie and we got her tongue clipped at her 3 week checkup. That has helped with her latch. She is a big spitter-upper - we are trying to figure out if it's something I'm eating, or if she just drinks too much too fast. She is a chugger!
- She slept most of her first month of life! We enjoyed our walks every morning, cooking, and our daily outings to the grocery store, lunch, or Target. Looking forward to her interacting more in the coming months.
